Angela and Rob had one of the very first weddings to take place at the newly renovated Brooklyn Arts Center at St. Andrews! It is always great to photograph at a new location and this one was especially fun! Angela had the vision of trees lining the walkway of her ceremony and it made for an elegant garden like feeling. This wedding took place just a week before the Royal Wedding and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Kate and William had the same idea! The Brooklyn Arts Center was built in 1888 and a lot of work has gone into restoring the building. It is great that the original staircase is still a part of the building because it the perfect place to take photos with interesting rustic backgrounds with beautiful light that streams in the windows of the corner tower.
Angela found this custom hanger on Etsy! Great idea!
I loved these shoe shots so much, I had a hard time picking just one!
Gorgeous flowers by An Event with Versaal’s. Peonies are my favorite flowers. They just make the lushest bouquets!
